كانت مريم فتاةً ذكيةً ومجتهدةً، تعيش في قريةٍ صغيرةٍ تحيط بها الجبالُ الخضراء.
كانت تحبُّ القراءةَ والكتابةَ منذُ صغرها، وتحلمُ أن تصبحَ كاتبةً مشهورةً في المستقبل.
في يومٍ من الأيام، أعلنت المدرسةُ عن مهرجانٍ أدبيٍّ، وطلبت من الطلاب تقديم قصةٍ قصيرة.
شعرت مريم بالخوف، وقالت في نفسها:
«هل أستطيع أن أكتب قصةً جميلة؟ هل سيعجب الناس بما أكتب؟»
في تلك الليلة، جلست مريم قرب النافذة، ونظرت إلى السماء المليئة بالنجوم.
تذكّرت كلماتِ أمِّها التي كانت تقول دائمًا:
«من يعمل بصدق، يصل إلى النجاح».
بدأت مريم تكتب قصتها بقلبٍ صادقٍ وأملٍ كبير.
كتبت عن الأحلام، والصبر، وقوة الإيمان بالنفس.
كانت تكتب كل يومٍ قليلًا، دون تعبٍ أو ملل.
وفي يوم المهرجان، قرأت مريم قصتها أمام الجميع.
كان صوتها هادئًا، وكلماتها مؤثرة.
صفّق الحضور بحرارة، وشعرت مريم بسعادةٍ كبيرة.
وفي نهاية اليوم، فازت قصتها بأفضل قصة قصيرة.
ابتسمت مريم وقالت:
«تعلمت اليوم أن الثقة بالنفس هي نور الأمل».

من يؤمن بنفسه ويعمل بجدّ، يحقق أحلامه.
Title: Light of Hope
Maryam was an intelligent and hardworking girl who lived in a small village surrounded by green mountains.
